First Annual “Batting for Boobies” in partnership with Slugger’s World Class Sports Bar in Chicago on October 13, 2013. The inaugural event, held in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will raise money that directly supports local women financially impacted by breast cancer.

Why: One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. The proceeds raised from this event help Busted Foundation provide assistance to local women experiencing financial challenges as the result of fighting and living with breast cancer.
Donations go directly to support these women who are overwhelmed with medical bills and their ongoing treatment.
Slugger’s World Class Sports Bar is donating the use of the entire upstairs with two bars, four batting cages, arcade games including pop-a-shot and skeeball, live music, and its famous dueling pianos. Although adult beverages will be served, including special pink Jello shots, the entire family is welcome to spend an afternoon at this lively event.
General admission tickets are $35 in advance $40 at the door, providing guests with entry plus four raffle tickets, three drink coupons, batting tokens, and access to live music, comedy, food, special celebrity appearances, a silent auction and many chances to win a variety of prizes. VIP tickets are also available for $100, which not only includes everything mentioned above, but also an all inclusive food and beverage packet for the duration of the event.
